BrainBuster Trivia

Here was the question: Who was the original voice of Shrek before Mike Myers?

Answer: Chris Farley

The "Saturday Night Live" star had recorded voice tracks as the movie's title character before his untimely death. After the Shrek producers considered Robin Williams, they hired Farley's SNL co-star Mike Myers. Another bit of trivia is that Myers first recorded all the dialogue in his normal speaking voice. After he finished, he asked the producers if he could re-recorded the whole movie using a Scottish accent. And the rest is movie history!
